At the end of 2021, the Dutch online electronics retailer opened its first physical store in Germany in the KII. On a sales area of 2,600 sqm, Coolblue’s range comprises around 1,000 electronic devices, including laptops, televisions and washing machines. Customers can pick up their online orders and take advantage of aftersales services such as repair services.
This building has the greenest facade in Europe, which consists of no less than 30,000 plants.
Expansion in Germany
One year ago, Coolblue successfully took its own infrastructure across the German border. By now, Coolblue Germany employs over 100 Coolbluers. The e-commerce company has considerably expanded its own delivery network, installation services, and bike delivery services in North Rhine-Westphalia. With the opening of its first store, Coolblue continues to build on its infrastructure in Germany.
Pieter Zwart, Founder at Coolblue: “In the coming year, we’ll keep expanding in Germany. In North Rhine-Westphalia, we want to further expand our delivery services CoolblueDelivers and CoolblueBikes. On top of that, we want to open more stores, so we can make even more German customers very happy.”
