A new surreal tropical oasis has opened in Amsterdam. And that just one metro stop from Central Station. In the gloomy period when we lived in lockdowns, Sarah Mendes – initiator of indoor playground WONDR and Pink Beach – dreamed of distant beaches and tropical places, which she wanted to try.
Pink Beach arose from this idea: a dream world in tropical atmospheres that was not accessible for a long time. Pink Beach is designed to make guests feel like they've even escaped the real world.
Pink Beach contains a completely pink beach bar that is reminiscent of the pink Caribbean sand beaches. The Spanish interior designer Patricia Bustos was inspired by Art Deco and the work of photographer Slim Aarons for the interior, based on the idea that the younger generations love design and beautiful designs.
On the sunny terrace you can enjoy great cocktails and mocktails while your feet are in the pink sand. You can also take a dip in the ball pool and enjoy good food and a glass of wine. Pink Beach is the ideal place to enjoy life; there is music, a choice of colorful drinks and good food, such as a Miami Hot Dog and a Palm Spring Burger. Added together, Pink Beach is the new hotspot to re-connect with your friends.
